An Interview with Chaplain Marilyn Morris
No-one plans for tragedy. But it happens. In traumatic moments, we are often at a loss, both what to do ourselves and what to do to assist or deal with others.
Having faced, dealt with and helped literally thousands through such moments of shock, disbelief, anguish, pain and for some, anger, Chaplain Morris takes us into her world during this interview and allows us to see some of these moments through her eyes. In doing so, we are “edified and informed in ways that are quietly profound.”

This 45 minute interview with one of America’s top hospital chaplains gives us a chance to walk with her as she talks us through some of what she sees and deals with on a daily basis. While the focus of the interview is not primarily on “tips and how-tos” for those dealing with sudden and traumatic death, she nevertheless does provide many throughout and particularly toward the end.
Grounded in her solid understanding of the “spiritual and emotional” work of chaplains you will be introduced to some of the key elements, dynamics and kinds of support chaplains provide to people during the intense experiences of sudden and traumatic death.
As we listen to how Chaplain Morris deals with such moments, we can better prepare ourselves to face such moments.
You are invited to walk with Chaplain Morris and gain some profound and helpful insights.
